For presenters
Oral presentation instructions
- Each talk is 20 minutes long. It is recommended to use 15 minutes to present and 5 minutes to discuss.
- The following points should be taken into consideration when preparing your oral presentation:
- Ensure that you are available at least 30 minutes before your presentation.
- Proper PC having the standard interface to connect data projector should be prepared by yourself.
- A data projector and a backup PC will be prepared by the organizer. The software installed in it is PowerPoint and Adobe Acrobat (pdf) only.
Poster presentation instructions
- Instruction for poster preparation
- One poster space indicating the presentation number (e.g. P1−1) is allocated to each presentation. Your poster should be no larger than A0 size (1189 mm (height) × 841 mm (width)). The orientation of your poster should be in portrait style.
- The poster title, the authors’ names and authors’ affiliations should be positioned at the top−center.
- The poster title should be written in block letters which are at least 30 - 50 mm high.
- All contents should be readable from a distance of 1 − 2 m away.
- Details of poster sessions
- Posters sessions are held in the conference Room A.
- We have two poster presentation times: T1 from 15:00 to 16:10 and T2 from 16:20 to 17:30 on June 26 (Wed).
- T1 is time for the Poster Session 1 and the presenters assigned as P1−1 to P1−18 should be at your poster. T2 is time for the Poster Session 2 and the presenters assigned as P2-1 to P2−18 should be at your poster. Each presenter is required to keep to your poster presentation time.
- Posters are displayed all the time during LU2013. (From 16:00 on June 24 (Mon) to 16:00 on June 28 (Fri)). You should display your poster no later than 13:00 on June 26 (Wed).
- Posters should NOT be left after 16:00 on June 28 (Fri). Clearing the poster space is each presenter’s responsibility. Posters left after 16:00 on June 28 (Fri) will be removed.
- Posters should be mounted on the room wall using magnets provided by the organizer. Any other tools, equipments and stationeries which you need to display your poster should be prepared by your own.
